Volunteer Van Driver

Description: We are looking for dedicated volunteer van drivers to pick up dogs in the Barrie area and bring them to a local high school so students can train them for a credited program.  Applicants must be at least 25 yrs. of age, have a valid and clean driver's license and be willing to undergo a Police Check. Experience with dogs and driving a cargo van or large vehicle is a plus.

Dance Ability Recital Volunteer

Description: The Dance Workshop in Alliston will be putting on its annual dance recital on Saturday, May 24th in Orillia, ON. The Dance Ability Movement is an inclusive and adaptive dance program that runs out of The Dance Workshop, and our dancers are involved in the show! We are looking for volunteers to specifically help our dancers that are part of The Dance Ability Movement. Experience engaging with kids/youth and/or individuals with disabilities is an asset, but not required. Roles may include greeting dancers, engaging in games/activities in between dances, assisting dancers with costumes, etc. Recital day volunteers need not have dance experience as you won't be making a stage appearance (don't worry!). Further location and time details will be provided closer to the event.

Volunteer Literacy Tutor for Adult Students
