The Dance Ability Movement (Dance Ability Recital Volunteer)

• Background/police check required
• Appropriate for youth (i.e., less than 18)
• Appropriate for volunteers aged 55 and over
• Training or orientation required

The Dance Workshop in Alliston will be putting on its annual dance recital on Saturday, May 24th in Orillia, ON. The Dance Ability Movement is an inclusive and adaptive dance program that runs out of The Dance Workshop, and our dancers are involved in the show! We are looking for volunteers to specifically help our dancers that are part of The Dance Ability Movement. Experience engaging with kids/youth and/or individuals with disabilities is an asset, but not required. Roles may include greeting dancers, engaging in games/activities in between dances, assisting dancers with costumes, etc. Recital day volunteers need not have dance experience as you won’t be making a stage appearance (don’t worry!). Further location and time details will be provided closer to the event.
