Barrie Literacy Council Information Sessions and Tutor Training Workshops Are you interested in learning more about the Barrie Literacy Council? Who we are? What our Purpose is? How we accomplish our goals? At the Barrie Literacy Council, we value volunteerism as the heart of our organization. We believe that volunteers play a crucial role in delivering our services effectively. Our Information Sessions are designed to answer these questions and introduce you to the various volunteer opportunities available, including: Tutors: Work one-on-one with a student to help improve their literacy and numeracy skills. Board and Committee Members: Help guide and manage the organization’s operations.
