Happy National Volunteer Week! Today marks the very first day of this wonderful week across Canada, and here at Volunteer Barrie, we could not be more excited to celebrate with you.
Calling all Ontarians! Whether you are grabbing a morning coffee on Dunlop Street, taking your usual GO Transit, or just braving our famous Lake effect snow, today is the perfect day to pause and think about the power of community. Volunteering is the heartbeat of our area, and this week is all about saying a big thank you to those who gladly give their time.
It is truly amazing to see how much volunteering brings life to the Barrie region. From the wider spaces of Ontario right down to your own Ardagh, everyday people are stepping up to help out. It makes our home a better, brighter place to live for everyone.
