Spartan Race Day Volunteers

Description: As a Spartan volunteer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our racers and spectators have an epic experience at the event. Volunteering at any Spartan event is extremely rewarding and you don’t need previous experience to take part. You will meet new people and experience a memorable day of mud, sweat and cheers You will have the option to choose your own shift time, as well as which area you would like to be involved in at the race. The exact shift times vary per event, but there are half-day and full-day shifts available at each race. Registration: Checking in racers Festival: Assisting at the start & finish lines, merchandise and bag check area. Course: Managing water stations, advising on course direction, counting burpees and cheering on racers Course Marshall:Officiating the elite and age group heats Kids Race: Motivating our littlest Spartans!

Camphill Foundation Board of Directors needed

Description: Our Foundation raises funds for the Programs and Capital needs of Camphill Communities Ontario. We are a small Foundation that has one staff currently. Our Board meets 8 times a year, usually on Zoom as we were doing Teleconference before the pandemic. We have an Annual AGM in June, however last year that was also held over Zoom due to the Provincial Pandemic and was held in September. We hope to have candidates join us for the AGM in June.

Barrie Bingo Hall Volunteer- March of Dimes Canada

Description: Bingo volunteers play an important role in supporting the revenue-generating efforts of the organization. The Bingo program provides more than $40,000 in funding each year, towards the Assistive Devices Program(ADP) of March of Dimes Canada. Each year, the ADP assists adults with physical disabilities who are in financial need to purchase assistive devices that increase their mobility and functional independence. Main Responsibilities: Greet participants at the Bingo Hall, Participate in the setup of the event, Organize material and have it ready for participants, Handle cash , Other administrative duties.

Volunteer for Enbridge's 15th Year Ride to Conquer Cancer 2022

Description: The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer is a unique, two-day cycling event to take place on June 11th and 12th, 2022. Participants will cycle over 200 kilometers between The City of Toronto and The City of Niagara Falls, and camp overnight in Hamilton (the half-way point). The Ride to Conquer Cancer series is Canada’s largest peer-to-peer fundraising event. There are various Volunteer Roles (Medical services, Transport, Ride Operations, Logistics, Event Services, Hospitality Services) available with a wide range of shifts.

Relay For Life Event Day Volunteers

Description: POSITION Relay For Life Event Day Volunteers   WHY WE NEED YOU   Relay For Life Event Day Volunteers are an important part of the success of this event.
