We provide intake, service navigation and coordinated service planning, assessment and diagnostic services, specialized clinics and rehabilitation services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech language therapy.

We are a Registered Charity, who own 73 acres of beautiful forest in the Midhurst area.  We have been working for almost two years to open a youth/seniors/family campground on the property which features six themed campsites.  Kanata, which has five teepees, Georgian which his five military garrisons, Prospector with five Yukon cabins, Adirondack which has five trapper shanties, Pioneer with five covered wagons, and Wendake with three magnificent longhouses.  We also have a site for ordinary tent camping, or overflow, and a renovated school portable which contains fridges, stove, an office, and is the camp Emergency Shelter and first aid headquarters.  There is a landline phone, wifi, a computer and heat/air conditioning in this building.  Our purpose is to celebrate Canada's rich cultural heritage, and our beautiful natural environment.  We aim to teach respect for all things living green, and for nature all around us.  Teaching respect for the past and the present will naturally carry forward in the minds of our guests to make great citizens of our communities in the future.

CWC is in phase 2 becoming an accredited member agency of Independent Living Canada. An organization run by peole with disabilities for people with disabilities. Our current programs and services include: 1. FREE Income Tax Program all year round, a partnership with Canada Revenue Agency. We provide tax services going back 10 years to current. 2. The StopGap Barrie Community Ramp Project, providing deployable ramps to businesses and organizations who are not accessible to people in wheelchairs, walkers, strollers or delivery people. 3. Our Guided Water-Colour Art Classes will be resuming shortly. 4. Our Peer to Peer Support group will be resuming shortly. 5. Our Host Organization - Creating Connection,  offers an array of Community Programs and Services.

In the heart of Hamilton, live the poor and the marginalized. Many struggling with addiction and illness. Often homeless and helpless, with so many doors closed to them.  There is one Door that is open, that welcomes them and feeds them hope. That is the De Mazenod Door, an Outreach program that provides food for the hungry and drink for the thirsty, 365 days a year. Through loving compassion and faith in action, De Mazenod Door Outreach serves to improve and empower the lives of the poor and marginalized in Hamilton. By providing food, housing, education, social supports and life skills development, we foster dignity, personal growth and hope for a better future. We work to provide a safe, inclusive environment for our guests, staff, volunteers, community partners and supporters, instilling a sense of community and belonging, where all are welcome and valued, and no one is turned away. Embracing Our Community Guests coming to the De Mazenod Door are treated with dignity and respect.  It is our goal that every single visitor to our door walks away with a true sense of community and a hot meal. Living Our Faith Our ministry is solely supported through the generosity of people who want to make a difference in the lives of the poor and marginalized in our city. Donations are welcome!
