Our mission is to inspire young people to pursue further studies and careers in the field of science, technology and engineering. Our vision is of a world which celebrates success in science, technology and engineering and in which young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes. We pursue our mission primarily through running robotics competitions for school-age students at the elementary, junior high school and senior high school level.

The Learning Disabilities Association of York-Simcoe (LDAYS), formally known as Learning Disabilities Association of York Region (LDAYR) is a charitable non-profit organization which was established in 1976. We provide leadership in Learning Disabilities advocacy, research, education and services, and strive to advance the full participation of children, youth and adults with Learning Disabilities (LD) in society.

Children’s Treatment Network (CTN) supports approximately 39,000 kids and youth with disabilities and other developmental needs and their families. We provide intake, service navigation and coordinated service planning, assessment and diagnostic services, specialized clinics and rehabilitation services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech language therapy.

Breast Cancer Canada is a leading national organization dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. Committed to both supporting those affected and funding pivotal research, we strive to foster awareness, provide education, and champion early detection. Through our efforts, we aim to reduce the impact of this disease and move closer to a future where breast cancer is more preventable, treatable, and beatable.

Robin Hood Army Canada (RHAC) aims to serve and empower communities-in-need, and help eradicate homelessness in Canada through empathy, teamwork and awareness. The primary role of a Robin (volunteer of RHAC) is to deliver food, clothing and hygiene items to shelters in Ajax and Oshawa, to facilitate basic life skills workshops and create awareness. Volunteers are required on ongoing basis with most drives being carried out on weekends, and can devote time as convenient to them Volunteer roles include - -Robins deliver surplus or freshly prepared food from restaurants, events and homes, to homeless people, refugee families and shelters. They also deliver clothing, hygiene items or basic life skills workshops to people-in-need. During COVID-19 all pickups and drop-offs are contactless. -As a Robin, you can help from the comfort of your home – with social media, check-in calls, metrics, partnerships, IT, research, and looking at addressing some of the root causes of homelessness in your city. There is something for everyone to do. Volunteers are required to be over the age of 18. Once the registration form is submitted, our Onboarding Team will reach out to familiarize you with the needs, risks, actions, and expectations. The Nanny Angel Network is a registered charity and the only organization of its kind in Canada. We have been providing free, specialized childcare support and programs to families living with cancer since 2009. Three main goals that drive everything we do: Provide specialized, Child Life-informed childcare support and programs for parents with cancer to give them the time they need to take care of themselves and reduce existing social support burn-out. Build resiliency in children by teaching life-long coping skills. Provide a sense of normalcy for children during a tumultuous time in their lives. Backed by 30 years of nanny agency experience, NAN has continued to successfully provide free resources for cancer patients and their families for over a decade. We support families at any point during the cancer journey. We’re there from the time of diagnosis, during treatment or through palliative care. We continue to support families who need help for up to a year during the bereavement period.

Osteoporosis Canada is the only national organization serving people who have, or are at risk for, osteoporosis. The organization works to educate, empower and support individuals and communities in the risk-reduction and treatment of osteoporosis. Be trained to conduct education sessions on fracture prevention to seniors at seniors centers, retirement homes and active living programs in the Barrie area.  Help with information tables at health fairs, community festivals and events

From diagnosis to discovery, we guide the way for Canadians to live well with Parkinson's disease through education, advocacy, and support services.
