Opportunity Description:

Barrie Persian Association is in need of volunteers to aid with the Mosaic Nights Festival. The Mosaic Nights Festival is a cultural appreciation event that consists of demonstrations of different cultural dances and music, food, lifestyle, etc. The event will take place on August 26th from 5 PM – 11 PM at Riverdale Park in Alliston. We need volunteers from about 3:30 PM till Midnight. Volunteers can work for however long they choose to, we need people for set-up, event, and clean-up. Volunteers will be supplied with cold water, snacks, name tags, and any other necessary supplies. Volunteer hours can be signed off for high school students. Students will get volunteer hours for the work they do the day of the event, any work they do in preparation for the event, and if they refer other volunteers to help. This is a great opportunity for resume-building as it is a cultural event hosted by a non-profit organization. Volunteers will also get notified about future opportunities.
