LOCATION: Your community! POSITION SUMMARY: The Volunteer Walk Organizer focuses on leadership and fundraising within their local community. RESPONSIBILITIES: Leadership & Collaboration Fundraising Marketing Budget Management BENEFITS & OPPORTUNITIES: Impact: Walk dollars help achieve ASC’s vision and mission and offer tangible and significant benefits to Canadians living with ASD. Training: Develop skills in fundraising, relationship management, event management, volunteer management, strategic planning, media relations, leadership and communication. Connections: Expand your personal and professional network. Recognition: Receive public acknowledgement for you or your company. QUALIFICATIONS: Interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication. Event and/or volunteer management experience is highly desired. Access to a computer, phone and internet is required. Basic computer skills.
