Opportunity Description
Every Friday afternoon backpacks of fresh and shelf stable food are delivered to specific local schools for kids that are experiencing hunger over the weekend. We are looking for people to join our delivery teams. Each team has 2 people, a driver and support person to load the backpacks into their vehicle, deliver to the school, and complete home deliveries as needed.
This service is delivered with compassion and kindness, ensuring the schools and families feel supported with this program.
Deliveries are completed between 1:00 and 3:00 on Fridays. Each delivery route has a specific, so availability during this timeframe is critical. However, start and end times may vary within this delivery window. A weekly commitment to this role is appreciated. We are also looking for casual delivery volunteers to cover shifts when regular volunteers are away.

Other Nonprofit
Kids Pantry, a program of The Pavlik Foundation, provides weekend food support for children experiencing food insecurity. In cooperation with the local school boards, we deliver backpacks of food to children in need through select schools, every Friday, 52 weeks of the year.
We are in 7 schools and feeding 100 kids each week.
To expand our program and reach more kids, we need people. Our Volunteer Teams work collaboratively to ensure food is organized, packed into backpacks and delivered to schools.
