The Meals on Wheels program is looking for volunteers to be part of their mission. The Meals on Wheels program mitigates the challenges of food security and social isolation in our community. We are seeking volunteers to assist with the delivery of meals to community members. As a volunteer in this role, you will: Pick up prepared meals from the designated location. Deliver the designated meal to clients’ homes on a pre-determined schedule. Observe routine precautions in the handling of food, including hand hygiene. Provide professional customer service when delivering meals. Maintain accurate records of program deliverables as instructed, possibly including trips, meals delivered and mileage.
