Barrie Bombers JR Lacrosse Club is a not-for-profit incorporation that has been in operation since the 2015 season, and is funded by sponsorship, fundraising and donations whenever available. We are committed to always promoting and developing the game of lacrosse with an emphasis on sportsmanship and fair play. We plan to develop community spirit and encourage good fellowship amongst all participants to the betterment of their physical, mental and social wellbeing thus our community.
Our team has 10 Home Games (& 10 Away Games), played at Peggy Hill Team Community Centre, Barrie.
The Executive and coaching staff are volunteers and do not receive any remuneration. Sponsorship provides equipment, apparel, transportation costs and floor time for the team, thus keeping the enrollment fees down for our players, helping to keep sports affordable for families and providing opportunities to low-income families. Lacrosse is Canada’s national summer sport!
